The Beginning.

~The Sun shines beaming down over the town of Snowpoint City as the towns people are slowly rising for the day. An Early start for most elsewhere, but the newly fallen snow, the crisp air makes the day even greater for Simkin as he stretches in his room. The light of the day coming into his room he throws his feet over the side of the bed the floor and nearly screams as chills go through his body causing him to shiver~
"Wow, thats cold" He mutters
Drawing the attention to Blaze his Vulpix he's had for a few years, who seems to have made his bed in his clean clothes that his mom placed in his room the night before.
"Vul?" Blaze mews almost to quietly lifting his head up.
Simkin yawning softly reaches towards Blaze's head and ruffles his hair there and scratches behind his ears.
"You Ready buddy? Time to get some breakfast and start our adventure and take on this giant world!" He says causing a rise out of Blaze who jumps up excitedly waggling his tails.
"VUL-PIX" Blaze responds jumping into Simkin's arms.
Chuckling softly and carrying Blaze downstairs after getting dressed, his feet growing accustomed to the icy floor. Once downstairs he meets the delightful smell of breakfast cooking in the kitchen. Taking a seat at the table his mother turns around to set the last of the breakfast- a platter filled with bacon onto it
"Good Morning my dear" His Mother says "When you are done eating Professor Rowan is waiting at his Office for you"
"Oh Right! Does he have my PokeNav In then?" Simkin says while stuffing a few things of bacon into his mouth while Blaze sits idly by his chair.
In which his mother replies "I am not sure honey, but i think it might be just that...and slow down that eating."
Simkin nods and slowly chews his food and winks to Blaze who mews softly again.
~30 Minutes later~
Simkin rubbing his belly contentedly"Whew that hit the spot perfectly, thanks mom" He says standing up and kissing his mom to the cheek as Blaze licks his lips having finished the food in his bowl as well.
"I'm heading to Professors now and will message you in a bit" he says quickly exiting as he throws his coat on and Blaze bounds happily after him.
"Wow, thats cold" He mutters

~Sim steps outside into the crisp cool air squinting slightly as the sun shines down for the early morning. Blaze immediately runs forward and dives into a patch of fresh snow and disappears into it. He lightly chuckles adjusting his red scarf around his neck his belt fastened holding his other pokemon on his hip a small pack wrapped over one shoulder and makes his way out whistling for Blaze who appears by sticking his head out of the snow then shakes snow from his fur and runs to Sim.
"Lets go we have to hurry if we are to meet the Professor"
Sim and Blaze- Who Now rests happily cuddled on Sim's shoulder continue their walk heading west out of the City, Lake Acuity calm this morning as a few Goldeen and Magikarp swim across beneath the waters surface of the clear water. Nearby a sleeping Snover rests near a tree, Sim smiles seeing the image, the image great for this cool day. And he continues onto Route 217.
~Several hours later way into Route 217 and trudging through the deeper snow he curses slightly as he is progressing slower then he wants to as the Sun is now high over head in the sky.
"Ugh this seems to be taking longer then expected" He Says while pulling Blaze from his shoulder "Blaze we need to speed this up Use Ember and melt our path in front of us"
"Vul-pix!" Blaze roars excitedly and opens his mouth to release the small flames to melt the path before them and trots off down the melted snow as Sim follows in a light jog. Every so often Blaze fires off another Ember to melt their path as they make it to Route 216.

~Once they approach Route 216 Sim and Blaze decide to take a little bit of a break. Knowing that Blaze must have been overly excited and worn himself out a bit. Taking Blaze into his arms and gives him a gentle hug smiling to him.
"How are you doing? You are quite impressive as always" Blaze mews a bit and nuzzles Simkin's hand once he sets him into his lap. "Let's get the others out of their Pokeballs and roam a bit" he says still smiling. Pulling the Pokeballs from his belt he opens them releasing Titan first followed by Shades then finally by Bullet. "Good afternoon" He says to them gaining yips of glee from them all. Simkin places out a bit of Pokefood for them all to enjoy and he watches them all play, the comedian being Shades up to his usual "Tricks" while the others watch. Titan however does seem to be watching guard for anything that may be "Out of the Norm" which in turn gains a bit of a small chuckle from Simkin.
After a good solid hour or wasting time and enjoying his pets company he puts them all back in their pokeballs and continues on down Route 216 trudging more through the snow though it lessens in depth as he makes it towards Mt Coronet's base entrance. Seeing several trainers move about the route, some of them on Ski's others locked into a pokemon battle. Blaze still a bit worn out from using so many Embers earlier in the day rests on top of Sim's head nestled their quite firmly despite his walking in snow seeming as if Blaze could easily slide off, he doesn't.
Crossing the snow covered bridges Simkin and Blaze head down the elevated slopes until they stand before the entrance to the mountain and both lean back to look up to its peak. "Wow such height" Simkin murmurs more to himself. He smiles to Blaze "Well lets venture in and see what we can get into" giving a wink and a soft roar from Blaze and enters in to the darkened cave.

~Simkin and Blaze walk a bit slowly as they enter the cave eyes adjusting a bit as they walk more in.
"Whoa a bit to dark in here" Simkin says causing Blaze to ruffle the fur on his back and opens his mouth as if to fire of an Ember but gives the darkness a bit of piercing light. "Ah thanks bud, that works to" He chuckles causing Blaze to yip in glee closing his mouth plunging them back into darkness a moment which causes a full blown laugh from Simkin. Blaze opens his mouth to light the way once more as they begin to walk again.
They walk further inside feeling the ground begin to change from the squishy wet dirt from the melting snow of outside to the harder packed dirt of the well traveled path through the mountain from previous trainers. As they move through out several Zubats shy away from the light Blaze is producing. But also reveals a pair of Cleffa playing about near a giant boulder in the middle of the room they are in. "Blaze, focus in on the pair of Cleffa try to surprise them with the light" He says as he pulls from his hip Titan and Shade's Pokeballs tossing them bringing them out appearing right beside the to Cleffa as Blaze temporarily blind them the Cleffa respond with a cry each and nearly fall over each other. "Shades hit the Cleffa on the right with tackle" Shades waggles his body a bit then literally flings himself in his version of a "Fancy" tackle taking the Cleffa to the ground who inadvertently and instinctively casts a Charm on on Shades- with no effect as they hold the same gender.
Blaze still flashing the bit of light from his mouth turns his head causing Shades and the tackled Cleffa from most sight. The other Cleffa female in gender quickly catches on quicker then her male companion "Titan Use Tackle" Simkin says and Titan moves swiftly and tightens its body as it flys to tackle the Cleffa, but she spins as if in a dance and then opens its mouth letting out a fantastic melody (Sing). "Ah not good" Simkin says feeling his eyes begin to grow weary from the song he clamps hands over his ears to drown out the song. "Titan try tackle again" Titan turns after the failed first attempt and launches his body once more at the Female Cleffa but grows tired mid tackle and hits the Cleffa directly but rests on top of the Cleffa sound asleep
"Blaze move back towards Shades" Simkin nearly shouts as the light comes back over the two. In time to catch the Male Cleffa to deliver a Pound to Shades head knocking him back. "Shades use Leer to drop his defenses and follow with another tackle" Shades listens and his gaze falls to the Cleffa and its penetrating look unnerves the Cleffa who attempts another Pound where Shades quickly follows with a tackle underneath the moving hand of the Pound to knockout the Cleffa. Seizing the opportunity Simkin reaches in his pack and tosses a Pokeball at the Cleffa which is suddenly swiped away as the female Cleffa jumps in front of it and starts yapping at them "Cleffa Cleff Cleff Cleffa!" then pointing to her male companion.
Simkin see's that the pair seem to be an item and he smiles walking up kneeling down to the Cleffa who seems to shrink back moving to open its mouth as if to Sing once more Sim reaches out and gently places a hand on the Cleffa's head "Aw i am sorry little one i did not mean to interfere with your time with your friend" as he consoles the Cleffa a flash of red light catches all of their attention and they all turn in time to see an overly curious Chingling tap its nose and disappear into the knocked away pokeball. It shakes the center flashes once...twice...and a third time before falling silent. "Oh wow" Simkin whispers moving over to pick the pokeball up holding it in his hand "Well that was quite interesting"
Having let the Cleffa be on their way and returning both Shades and a Sleeping Titan to their own pokeballs. Simkin, Blaze a newly and unbelievably caught Chingling now added to his belt. Begin moving again once more through the cave and find a spot to rest mainly for Blaze.
