Ralts Gets Attacked!

Iole takes Ralts and her pokemon to the Poke Center (PC) before going on a long journey with the Prof Oak and his assistant. Iole takes her first step into the PC with Ralts in her arm. A group of warmly smiling nurses approach them. They took Ralts and the rest of Iole's pokemon to the machine to heal. Instantly Ralts feels refreshed and glowing. The nurses pass Iole's pokemon and Ralts back to her. Ralts giving Iole a kiss on her nose telling her that he enjoyed the process and the nurses. Chuckling at Ralts, Iole walks back out from PC and joined Prof Oak with his assistant to go on a journey to Sinnoh.

"We need to take a boat from Vermillion City" Prof Oak said while walking towards Route 2 and into the forest.

"Hopefully we dont have sea sickness" said Iole while hugging onto Ralts.

As they enter the Viridian Forest, the buzzing sound of people slowly disappear and replaced by the sound of wild pokemon around them. Prof Oak decided to take the shorter route to Pewter City as he went into the tall grass. Unknowingly a wild Pidgey appear! Ralts jump off from Iole's arm and stood in front ready to put up a fight! Iole smirks and help up her fist and call out "Confusion!"

Ralts jumps forward and uses confusion onto Pidgey! The wild Pidgey takes aim at Ralts and uses tackle!

"Confusions!" Yelled Iole.

Ralts stood firm and uses confusion with a tiny blast, the wild Pidgey fainted.

"Ralts Ralts!" Ralts jumps onto Iole's arms happily for another easy victory.

"Yes Ralts! You did it again! I am proud of you!" smile Iole.

As they continue into the deepest part of the forest, more wild pokemon approach them. It was Caterpie! Iole grins and call out "Confusion!" with Ralts ready to take order, jumps up front while using confusion onto the wild Caterpie! Without a second to lose, the Caterpie uses string shot, Ralts uses confusion once more and knocks out Caterpie out cold. Another easy victory for Ralts and he jumps onto Iole's arm again.

Finally they see light from the dark forest, but when they are just about a few metres away from the exit, a wild Weedle appears! "Ralts!!" said the surprised Ralts being suddenly tacked by the wild Weedle! But that doesnt bother Ralts! He just shakes it off and ready to attack the wild Weedle the minute Iole said "Confusions!" Weedle uses "Poison Sting" onto Ralts! Iole looks at Ralts, worried that he will be poisoned but she believe he can stand it and shout "Confusions! You can do it Ralts!!"

Weedle didnt give in either by using "String Shot" on Ralts, trying to weaken him. Instead Ralts remains tough and uses one last time Confusions to knock Weedle away from their path! Ralts jumps onto Iole's arm giving her a nudge on her shin letting her know, he is tired from the battle. His breathing was fast as Iole gently calm him down.

They enter the busy city of Pewter City. People walking around with their Pokemon. Some trainer going into the PokeMart. While some solemn trainers coming out from the gym. Ralts' expression brighten up when he saw the PC. Iole who understands Ralts, asked Prof.Oak if they can stop by the PC to heal Ralts back to his normal self. Ralts and Iole went into the PC and get healed before coming out to join Prof.Oak.

"Prof.Oak, is there still a long way to go?" asked Iole while they walk from the PC.

"Not much after this city, we shall go through Diglett's Cave and take route 11 short cut to Vermillion City" said Prof oak as they get going from Pewter City towards the Diglett's Cave.

"Then a boat ride to Sinnoh?" asked Iole with Ralts looking at Prof.Oak too.

"Yes, we must hurry or the cruise will leave without us" Prof.Oak said as they speed up in their walking.

After some time of walking, they finally reach the Diglett's Cave, Prof. Oak send out his trusty pokemon Ponyta to light up the cave as they walk inside. Deeper into the cave as the only light they see is from Ponyta upfront leading the way with Prof.Oak.

Iole sighs as she leans her head against Ralts who is on her arm, closing her eyes as if to take a rest. Unfortunately, Prof. Oak isnt stopping instead, his pace quicken as he walks along the dark cave. Reluctantly, Iole have to admit she is afraid of the dark, she hugs onto Ralts tightly as she fasten her pace too. Their footstep on the cold ground floor was echoed everywhere around the cave. Coldness wraps around her as the darkness continues with only Ponyta's light ahead.

"Is the exit far?" says Iole feeling slightly scared but she never show that in her tone of voice.

"Not really, we're going to reach soon" says Prof. Oak looking at his watch impatiently.

They continue to walk in silent, nothing but the dripping waters from the ceiling to the ground, making stalagmite and stalactite inside the cave. The sound of their footstep crunching on floor grows fainter as she see lights appearing in front of her slowly. The small spot of light becomes bigger as they reaches the exits of the cave.

Iole feels her chest grew lighter and her cheeks flush with glee as she takes a deep breath on the freshly cut lawn in front of her, smelling the wet spring air running though her lungs. She found her courage back then she looks at Ralts, giving him an encouraging looks. Prof. Oak recalls back Ponyta into his pokeballs then continue to walk towards Route 11, onwards to Vermillion. The breeze of the sea coming from Vermillion City carries the voices of the people from the city, rustle and bustle of poke trainers and loud market place.

Feeling delighted, she walks along with Prof. Oak whom already took off to Route 11 in a fast pace. Iole scurried along with Ralts in her arm, taking bigger steps this time to walk beside Prof. Oak who have been not stopping to catch his breath and keep looking at his watch. As they take the path away from the grass, they didnt stumble to anymore wild pokemon, instead they are just in a hurry to catch the last cruise ship to Sinnoh.
